FLAME ON! Miami Goes Up 2-1 Over Bulls In East Finale

Behind a white-out at home, The Miami Heat took over Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, beating the Bulls 96-85 to go up 2-1 in the series.

Chris Bosh, who’s struggled at times this season, recorded his best numbers this season with 34 points. When Bosh plays like he did tonight, Miami is hard to beat. For once, they actually seemed like the Big Three, not the Big 2 and a half. Lebron had 22 while D.Wade had 17.

Oddly enough, Carlos Boozer actually played an outstanding game with 27 points and 17 rebounds. The Bulls have desperately needed him to produce ALL postseason. He finally came around, yet they still couldn’t break through Miami’s strong defense. They stopped Derek Rose from penetrating to the rim, forcing the MVP to make several questionable decisions. Rose finished with 20 points. Joakim Noah seemed to struggle on both ends of the floor, contributing to what seemed to be yet another lackluster offensive effort by the Bulls. He only scored one point and picked up 5 fouls in 29 minutes of play.

For Chicago, it’s time to face the facts. They’re in trouble. Aside from Rose, Boozer and Luol Deng, who had 14 points, no one could produce. They just don’t have enough playmakers to contribute to a successful offense. Their defense struggled as well. Sure, they finally slowed down LBJ and Wade, but they left Bosh WIDE OPEN.

Chicago has a lot to fix before they play what will be a MUST WIN Game 4. Unfortunately, I don’t think they have the time to fix all their problems in the matter of a few days. But eh, the way this series is going, they might have a WHOLE MONTH to prepare (slightly exagerating).

EXTRA: Noah seems to drop Gay-Slur
